The Rosemary Galloway Quartet

at The Rex Hotel, Queen and University Ave., sets from 9.45pm., cover

This project, led by composer/ bassist Rosemary Galloway, includes the finest jazz musicians in the country – Pat LaBarbera on saxophones, Gary Williamson, piano, Terry Clarke, drums. The music will feature reworked standards and original material written and arranged by members of the group and recorded for our CD “Live at the Montreal Bistro”. CDs available at the venue or at www.rosemarygalloway.com.

Jim and Rosemary Galloway and Friends at

Scarborough Bluffs United Church, 3739 Kingston Rd (at Scarborough Golf Club Rd), 7.30pm

featuring Jane Fair, saxophones, Don Vickery drums, Lawrie Bower, trombone, Ian Bargh, piano. Jazz standards and favourites, with a few surprises, from longtime colleagues and special guests. Join us for a swinging evening.
